TiberiumPrivate note taking app: what to look for, what to ignore
Privacy in a notes app is a serious topic and one that does not benefit from marketing overclaims. Tiberium takes privacy seriously without pretending to be something it is not. Here is what to look for in a private notes app, and what we actually do.
What to look for
- ✓ Notes are scoped to your account by default — nobody else can see them
- ✓ Public sharing is opt-in per note, never automatic
- ✓ Standard HTTPS in transit
- ✓ No advertising and no third-party trackers in the app
What 'private' should actually mean
A private notes app keeps your notes visible only to you unless you explicitly publish them. That is the meaningful bar. Tiberium clears it: every note is private by default, and you have to opt in to publish.
What to be cautious about
Be sceptical of apps claiming end-to-end encryption without explaining their key management. Be sceptical of free apps that sell data on the side. Read the privacy page; it tells you more than the marketing page does.
What Tiberium does not promise
We do not currently offer end-to-end encryption. Our cloud sees your notes the way most cloud document tools do. If you have notes that require true E2E, this is not the right tool.

Can other users see my notes?
No — notes are scoped to your account. Other users have no path to read them unless you publish.
Are my notes encrypted?
In transit, yes. At rest in our database, standard cloud storage protections apply. End-to-end encryption is not currently offered.
Do you sell my data?
No — Tiberium does not sell user data.
Can I delete everything?
Yes — delete your account and your notes go with it.
